Voices of the unhoused

2020, with Donna Oblongata

Hand drawn and digitally edited portraits, interviews, zine, wheat paste

Donna and I teamed up to address an issue facing the residents of the encampment that sprung up in central Philadelphia in the summer of 2020: press, though covering the encampment closely, never bothered to amplify the stories of its residents. Donna interviewed residents while I drew their portraits; their stories were then printed and disseminated across the encampment and the city. Images and documentation are accessible on Donna’s website here.

2023 - ongoing, with Jewish Voice for Peace and others

Protest art, mutual aid network

Artwork created in support of Palestinian liberation. This includes creation of new pieces and activation of existing ones. I did not make the John Fetterman puppet - I assembled it and activated it at a protest with a crew of puppeteers.
