neighborhood herbal medicine workshops

Herbal oxymel, digital design, workshop
Herbalist Mercelyne Latortue and I collaborate on short herbal medicine workshops held in a backyard in SW Philly. Herbal medicine is create with hyperlocal plants and advertised in a small radius, creating an intimate, hyperlocal collaborative learning experience. This project is supported by a grant from the Philadelphia Area Cooperative Alliance’s Southwest Early Action Fund.
farm 51
Farm 51 is a community-oriented garden, creative event space, and home to many creatures. Part of the city harvest program, we grow food for and with neighbors, and collaborate with our friends at the Free Brunch Program to be a node in the network of food access in SW Philly.
